the light at the end of the tunnel
So GET THIS… I email my geography professor and she emails me back saying “call my office”- I call and she says that she has put some thought into it, and because of my high grade on the final she thinks it would be fair to raise my grade to a B+… anyone know what that means?? I’ve got the 3.0 (and jeff- I’m really not obsessed about grades- I just had to get a 3.0 to be considered for pharmacy school)! This means I have a shot at pharmacy school!- woo hoo! I felt really good when that happened… I went ahead and email the dean of admissions of pharmacy school – Dr. Eoff or Eoff for short- with the good news. He replies back the next morning with something like (exactly) this:
“ impressive semester with the course load and the types of courses – this will definitely help you on the alternate list and I will guarantee that if you don't get pulled off for this class, I will give you a position in the class of 2005 guaranteed. “
Needless to say I was really happy to hear that the worst case scenario is me getting to pursue my life’s dream of pharmacy at a top 10 pharmacy school and my first choice… this is all just kind of crazy (in a good way!)… so thanks to all of you for thinking of me and praying for me and all that… I know it made a difference, and you are all very much appreciated. I know I have a large group of supporters and it has been great to not have to go through this alone. I will keep you posted- Scott
