Fish Eyes

Hello… Scott here… I am really excited because today is like Christmas to me… the mtsu show is tonight at 8pm. I really hope that it doesn’t rain too much because that would really screw me up with my drive home. It’s a later show than most, it starts at 8pm. This is honestly, one of the top 3 or 4 shows you could go to in the country- including finals. Each corps performs at 30-37 shows a summer and any given night there are about 3 different shows which makes for well over 100 venues that one could possibly attend. So saying that this is top 3 or 4 is really a big thing. I am just really excited about everything. I talked to my friend brent from the bluecoats contra line last night and he told me what was up and how they were filling the two holes that came from someone quitting and someone leaving due to his dad having cancer… They have the two guys in the show already, but the opener will just have 8.. .which is not really hurting them too much because they have been beating phantoms brass. I am really looking forward to the whole show. The cadets, SCV, Cavaliers, and Blue Devils have amazing shows.

I have been using my laptop here in Smokey’s and its really nice. The wireless connection (that works in any campus building) is 11mb/sec… which would be approx. 200 times faster than a 56k (that’s fast). I am really tired and hungry… writing here in smokeys isn’t helping.

I just downloaded “all downhill from here” from A Newfound Glory and I really like that song. Also “you and I both” by some guy whose name I don’t remember is really good. I need to get some blank CDs so I can listen to some of this stuff…

Wow… this blog is just about as uneventful as they get, isn’t it? I need controversy!
