The singing at church was awesome this morning- i sat next to a couple thats in my wednsday night singing class- she's an alto and he's a tenor- so with me filling in the bass and the person on my right singing sop- it was like our own little quartet- they were all right on. everything just sounded so good- something about singing bass when you are really tired- seems easier to hit the low notes... and i really like it when the song leader just starts the song and steps back and conducts and just lets the church carry it- not so unlike that church scene in cold mountain, or the river scene in "o brother"...

i wish i could be with my family right now on our MJ church trip-- i've been there the last few years with the exception of Bluecoats summer-- its funny because one of my good friends, Brent actually goes to the congregation that my church is visiting in Dayton, TN... oh well- maybe my leg will be good to go next year-
