too much money!

(my leg hurts alittle- i'm writing to fall back asleep)

sooo i'm driving back from church and one of my speakers in the front goes out- and i've installed speakers before... and i had wanted to replace those anways, so i randomly decided to go to best buy- just being real spontaneous and whatnot. I go to the back, figure out what speakers to get, grab the box and go right up front... i look at afew lines and decide to go with lane #8... the lady in front of me is checking out and is messing with her purse to get some money out... its my turn and i step up and give the cashier the speaker box... and i look down at my feet only to see five 100-dollar bills... "oh man.. .not again!" i said... (in reference to the $650 i found at kroger about a year ago)... and i had a split second decision to make- but i made it and i said "hang on a second- that lady dropped something" and i took the money and ran outside to find her... she was getting in her car and i said "excuse me maam!" and she looked up
"did you drop anything.... maybe some money?"
"oh well... no i dont think so" she said looking through her purse
"ok"
"OH MY GOODNESS!" she said looking in one of her back compartments..."i just got paid and i was keeping my money back here and i had almost 900 dollars... oh my goodness!"
and i was just going to give her the money at this point but she insisted on telling me exactly how much was missing- and it was 500 dollars so i felt good about it... she just grabbed me and gave me a really big old hug... the kind of hug you give to a friend or loved one after not seeing them for an extended period of time, or the kind you would give a family member before going on a long trip... and she was just in disbelief- she said that she wouldnt have had a reason to look in that pocket until much later that day and that she never would have suspected that it had fallen out... she was shaking and crying... it was pretty emotional... and i said something like "hey well... i'm glad its all ok now- you have a good day" and i just ran back inside where i had left my wallet and speakers and stuff... i was paying and she came back inside with a smile on her face... she had a 100 dollar bill in her hand and she handed it to me and told me she wanted me to have that-- but i declined... and she tried to give me 50 bucks with the same result... she just hugged me again and then told all of the best buy staff that were around- and they all seemed relatively touched- the girl checking me out said that she was just shaking a little and that she felt something special about that moment-- it was an interresting morning to say the least... i had been really tired and worn down- i needed a wake up call and i think i got it...


on a side note-- last night the Bluecoats beat phantom regiment-- including the sub-caption of "brass"... WOOHOO!!! those of you who "got" those video clips in the last blog will probably also "get" what it means to me for my corps to have topped phantom regiment in brass... (i mean look at the videos!... ) lets go BLOOOOOOO!!!
