formal time

not much to say really... i had some hair, but it got it cut on friday- it was getting shaggy... i'd say the second from last picture probably does the most justice to the "how have things been going?" question... in general- much better- i can almost see the pharmacist light at the end of the tunnel- i'm getting back in pre-hurt scott shape and it just makes me feel good about life really- i can feel myself gaining back the clarity of thought i had lost, and in a way, just feeling more calm, composed, sharp, and well... happy- gives me alittle more than numbers on the page when i tell someone that studies show regular exercise (30 minutes a day of cardio) to be more effective than popping an antidepressant for your mood- actually raises your levels of serotonin the natural way without any side effects.... its allllll about the neurotransmitters...- i think so much of what i was going through this last year was due to the "my body is no good now" image problems i was having in my head- but now that that particular issue is starting to come under control- i feel like i have control of my life back- like i can still take charge and be 'the man' and live and breathe and thrive and all of the above... and plus i dont have all this pent up energy/tension i've been carrying around with me since... ohhhh... May of 2005... ahhhhhhhhhhhh
while sometimes there appear to be external obstacles, the only real things that can prevent total success and fulfillment are internal- you just have to get over it and keep on moving...
to quote a line from batman begins:
'why do we fall down? So we can learn to pick ourselves back up again.'
I'm back up, baby.
