just got out of a special guest lecture from 12-1:15- there was free lunch! (also we had to go because of the particular rotation we were on)- i'd say it was about 50:50 medical and pharmacy... he did say some things about milk that i'm probably gonna go look up because i'm not sure i agreed with him- of course- his research was funded in part by nestle'... i've got a couple minutes before we've gotta go back to the lab-

mom's sending me my old phone, so please hold all phone shipments- i did have several people ask me if i wanted their old phones, and it was appreciated- tomorrow is my LAST DAY at this research rotation... i've had an OK time this month, but I'm really looking forward to checking this off the list and moving on to something else- i've never really felt like i was much of a "lab" person in general (but i do find that i have excellent technique!)----
just gotta turn in a paper and then at the end of the day he'll give us our take home test to work on and complete the weekened in-between this and next month's rotation which starts this coming Monday... i still dont really get how that's fair for the two of us (my lab partner and i) but i dont make the rules so i wont complain i guess... i asked him if we could get it a couple days earlier to get a head start and he said he didnt want us using our time on rotation to work on the test because we should be doing other things around the lab instead... i guess i'll just buckle down and get it done friday night and saturday and maybe i can at least have a day of relaxation before this whole process starts again monday- bleh-

and unless something comes up- i'm going to try my best to come home for easter weekend- no guarantees becuase its very likely that i'll have some kind of paper or presentation to have ready when i get back- i've heard bad things about this next month- something about there might be a 15 page paper, multiple presentations every week, and a decent amount of reading to do before each day- ok i gotta go- holla
