Wow- crazy day today- I had a really good time with all of it- went to throw some Frisbee and watched a movie with a p1 girl and that was fun (she was actually awesome at throwing frisbee much to my suprise- she told me she did the discus in track/field in highschool- which i kinda thought was funny because there's no way she weighed more than 110lbs and i usually thought of discus girls being kinda... beefy...)

- then I went to eat dinner at Texas De Brazil (which is just stupid good… its just stupid) for todd’s birthday and I enjoyed getting to meet a couple of his married friends- I thought they were really fun people and they made me smile- Adam ate some of the top sirloin and just started laughing because it was so good and it made me laugh, and then april started lauging… so that was really funny- I had a good time.

And then I met an incoming pharmacy girl (its an orientation weekend for the new students that will be here in the fall) here at the PDC house for a movie- she marched Carolina Crown (mello) in 2005, and we were in band at UT for a year together, so we figured that was enough in common for us to hang out- I had a really good time with her, actually (I even cleaned my room for her)… she wasn’t what I had expected at all -in a good way, and she could talk DCI with me… so that was refreshing since I think I may be the only person in 10 square miles who even knows what DCI is, much less, has actually marched- I said something to the effect of there being nobody around who ‘gets’ it, and she smiled and bumped me and said “its ok- I get it”- I thought that was cute… but yeah… I guess I haven't really spent much alone time with girls in the last, ohhhh... almost 2 years… long enough to forget that girls can actually be more fun than ipods, video games, or even watching movies on my plasma TV… funny how that works.
