ok now i'm just bored

here's the cadets 1998- it really took me 4 or 5 listens to really get into this show- its kinda abstract/dissonant- but it kicked butt and won over some other really great shows that year-

its got a lot of cool chorale-style moments from the brass and is almost always listed at the top of any "all-time most athletic/demanding show" discussion... it really breaks a lot of the conventional formats for shows... starts slow- doesn't really have another slow part until about 7 minutes into it... the drill is extremely exposed and very challenging- in terms of visual individual effort- and exposure of drill- i'd say this rivals and beats even some of the great cavaliers shows of the early 2000s that are so well known for visual GE....and the spacing no doubt took the full 3 months of tour to perfect- not a great show to give to someone for their first time look at DCI- but for those of you who have seen some shows in person- i'd say you're ready :)

IF you are totally not interested in this- and don't plan on watching it- i'll ask that you at LEAST start it at 2:00 and watch that 30 seconds... its the least you could do, right? hehe
