Memphis, Tenn. – On Friday, May 30, the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) graduated 535 students. (Name) , of (Hometown) , was one of 121 graduates receiving the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. The U.S. News & World Report 2008 listing of America’s Best Graduate Schools ranks the UTHSC College of Pharmacy 16th in the country.

Hershel P. Wall, MD, chancellor of the UT Health Science Center, presided over the ceremony. David E. Millhorn, PhD, executive vice president of the University of Tennessee conferred the degrees. Robert Waller, MD, a UTHSC alumnus and president emeritus of the Mayo Clinic, gave the commencement address to graduates and their families.

The 535 graduates are from all six UTHSC colleges: Allied Health Sciences, Dentistry, Graduate Health Sciences, Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy.
