minus me
this is how our graduation robes look... you could say it's "exactly" like our robes look because this is actually mine- color's not great- I didn't charge my good camera at home so I'm stuck with my camera-phone for now- but don't you worry- Josh is gonna be taking shots till the cows come home on Friday...
(the lighting is bad in my room- but it's black with Olive-green felt stripes... It's pretty fun! I tried it on earlier and walked around the house just for kicks. :)
and right now this is sans-cool neck-wrapping-thing which will be the same olive-green on the outside and UT orange on the underside...(called a "hood")- but they'll be putting those on us Friday-

It's fabulous, Scott! Every guy needs a basic, black dress. And after all that work, Sleeping in your academic regalia is perfectly acceptable, too. CONGRATULATIONS! Aunt Eileen
Okay Scott, I mean DR Scott, it's been nearly a week now since your graduation and your public here has been waiting, Waiting, WAITING to hear ALL ABOUT graduation! (Was there pomp? And how about circumstance(s)?) Please don't let us down now! Fortunately, your very thoughtful Grandmother B Was kind enough to post some neat photos of the event. Thank you, LB!
In other news. . . on a recent flight I was seated next to a interesting fellow and I really wished that YOU had been there too (Delta DFW to Alanta). He was reading on a Kindle (sp) which I found so interesting and he happened to mention that he would have never bought it but that he won it in a sales contest. . .
And then eventually hours later when we were descending and I (or maybe he) was (were) in the mood for more chit-chat, I asked him what exactly he sold. And I wrote this down in my DayTimer because I figured it might be of interest. He sells automated pharmacies - "factories" that fill prescriptions. I thought oh boy, I wish Scott were here, I would definitely pass the conversational baton on to a pharmacister. Well, he said they fill between 5,000 and 100,000 prescriptions a day. I figured if they keep working at it, soon they'll be close to the MJ Target figures. ;)
I asked him the name and he said McKesson - a wholesale distributer of drugs (maybe he meant pharmaceuticals). He didn't have a business card on him, but that's what he said.
So there you go Scott. I'll bet that's something you know all about, those automated pharmacies. He said it was provided excellent opportunities for a Doctor of Pharmacology. But then I got to thinking about what was missing from all that - the factor of human interaction. And that you, being such a social creature, really thrive on dealing with the public. (Right or wrong? Tell us now, don't be shy!)
But anyway. Opened up new ideas in my mind... just thought you might like to know that your name and profession came up. . .over the skies of Atlanta.
Keep up the good work, oh - and I thought of a question for you, but that can wait.
Say, much celebrating? But seriously Scott, COME ON NOW! THAT MOVING AND PACKING AND GETTING READY FOR YOUR NEW HOUSE AND JOB CAN WAIT. After all, your Blog Readers are your number one fans!
All the best! Aunt E.
