knoxville? more like ICEville...

WHOA MAN THE ROADS AROUND HERE ARE HORRIBLE!!
There were delays… and I went about 50 miles an hour all the way from cookville to Knoxville… the streets here are absolutely horrible… I mean… everything is covered in THICK ice.. not just a little… not just some… the roads here on campus are totally totally covered in ice… there are no tracks to follow… I was lucky to make it up the hill.. I watched several other people not make it after me… I offered to help them but they said they didn't think it would do any good for my to push. How am I going to go to work tomorrow?? I know I’m going to crash as soon as a pull out of the parking lot and try to go down the first ice-hill… I am actually very nervous about this… the weather says its going to be below freezing up until about noon tomorrow… and I have to leave for work at 9:30… how is that going to work? I just can't believe how bad the roads are… where is the salt?? I am blown away at how unprepared this city was for this. I gotta sleep… I'll let you know how my trip to work goes… Peace- scott
