PCAT in the hat...
Yellow.... scott here... had a good vacation- minus the crashing the car part... it was really fun. i enjoyed the banquet... it was just sad in another way because i knew i wouldnt be able to join in on the festivities of the audition camp the next day. there was a nice artice on dci.org about the camps with links to the bluecoats website where you could watch a big clip that showed different parts of the camp. that was cool.
oh yeah- ok so get this... so i take ths PCAT thing afew weeks ago... if you were keeping up with reading my blog you probably knew that. i thought i did pretty well... i felt good about it. so i get the results back when i got back into nashville after the ohio trip. i was really excited, didnt know what to expect. i didnt wait to go up to the room- i sat down in a chair in the lobby and took a big breath and closed my eyes... ok i was ready.... i opened it up... looked at the score...
"WHAT? that cant be for me! is that right? this is weird....is this thing for real?... wow..."
i got a composite score (the one they look at... like you got some different scores on the act, but the one you tell everyone is your composite score...) of 235... 95th percentile...
it took me like 10 seconds to just sit there and think about that before it set it...
can you believe that? 95th percentile? all my doubts about getting into pharmacy just went way... it felt great... still does actually... i dont really know where i'll go... but i think i can get in somewhere with that... or so i hear from those who know about the admission stuff. Anything that takes away some of the uncertainty about the future is just great in my book... the future can be really scary in college because you know you are getting so close to many of the biggest decisions of your life... so anything that helps you say "you know... i think things are gonna work out afterall!"... well... rules. i'm really proud of me...
unfortunately that score doesnt make the rest of my senior year go away... so i've still gotta push it here for the next 72 hours for my biochemistry test... dang.... later.
