working for the weekend

Yellow... scott here... i've got about 10 minutes here between classes so i'll try to keep you filled in.... like i said before... 3 horrible horrible tests this week... 1 thursday, 2 friday... after that its all downhill... oh well... i am gonna study when i get out of class today until about midnight with 2 breaks... one for eating and one for running... and thats that. I feel pretty good... if my body was a car it would be running very smoothly... with an upgrade in horsepower... the running has helped me feel alot better. Its to the point where i actually enjoy running now.. you can drive by at night and see me running with a smile on my face because i am just happy that i am able to do it. I see people come in to the pharmacy who seriously could not run a mile.... they are either too old, or too out of shape... and it just makes me feel good that i can go out and run 5 miles and just have a good time...
i cant wait till DVD burners are economical... thats gonna be awesome... i think that in about the next 1-2 years they will become as common as CD burners are today... and that makes me happy... you already see a large advent of the "media center" type PC's that can record TV shows digitally to DVD's, and they work like TIVO's by just plugging in your cable to the back of your PC... thats how things are gonna be, and thats awesome... i got a 35 cent raise at work... and i was just downright not satisified with that.... i told bob about it and he agreed that i deserved more and he was gonna go talk to mark- the guy incharge of that- the very next day and tell him that he didnt agree with the smallness of the raise... i thought that was really cool because i didnt even have to ask bob to do that, he just saw my situation and wanted to help me out... and i think he knows i would help him out in any way if i could too... i guess 3 weeks ago when he called me and asked me to work every day of the week to cover for someones vacation he overlooked, i was helping him out... and i didnt even really think twice about that. I really enjoy working with bob and jenny because we have worked together for about 2 years now and things just run really smoothly... i can seriously tell them anything about anything and they are always willing to lend some advice... i have so much respect for them on the professional level too, and i see the level of respect and trust that the customers give to them and that makes me all the more positive that i want to be a pharmacist... but speaking of that.. i've gotta go pay attention to some gold old human physiology for an hour and a half... because thats what i gotta do... later- scott
