where i come from....

Hey there… things are still good. Class (orientation stuff still) was fine today. Parking is only 75 bucks here… (vs. 230 or so at UTK). I have been burning a lot of CD’s off of the music from my ipod recently so that’s fun- I had a TON of music that was on my ipod but not on my last computer because I didn’t have room on my computer.

GOOD NEWS: apparently there are people here at school that play Frisbee! I was talking to the intramural guy and he said there was an ultimate tournament in February (seems like an odd month for that…) and I was like… “well that’s good…”… and I was walking away and he said that there was a group that played every Friday at the field by my place (“Doctors Field” is what its called…)! So that’s awesome… and so if he is right then the game should be starting in 10 minutes, and that’s good. After that I am going to eat some spegetti we are cooking here at the apartment and then go walmarting because I really don’t have any food yet… I already have a ton of notes to look over for Monday and it looks like some pretty tough stuff, but I am ALL about rising to the occasion (that reminds me, have you heard those new beer commercials on the radio about rising to the occasion, its Owen Wilson trying to solve the problems of callers… I’ve heard a few funny ones)… so yeah, I do that well… and it also helped that everyone who looked at the notes made some sort of “WHOA that’s hard stuff” comment… My party went awesome last night, as I met a ton of people and just had a good time… really came out of my shell a little bit. I am going to church with about 6 other people and 4 of those 6 were just people I randomly met at the party when we were talking and they were planning on going to one of 2 or 3 churches and I invited them to come with me… so we’ll see how that goes. OK its time to show these med-school pansies how we play ultimate Frisbee where I come from… Peace- Scott
