nice letter...

so i'm finishing up heading up this project thing... and one of my female friends who came to the first event, sent me some pictures to complete my folder that i've gotta turn in about it... and when i went to check my mail to get the pictures, she had written a note to go with it too and it really made me happy.... (she doesnt read this so its cool...)

"Hey sweetie! I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to get these to you! I hope they help. Just so ya know...you've done a really good job with the window display stuff, Scott. I feel like I let you down by not being able to help with any more events. I know you've had to deal with lots of stuff lately, and I just thought I'd let you know that I'm really proud of you. You make me smile, Scott Burka!!"

so that was nice of her. it makes me happy to hear someone actually say "i'm proud of you" (besides you, mom and dad, thats a given...)... but its just nice that she would say that... i think its something that we dont say enough any more, you know? She (the girl who sent the letter) is an old fashioned girl, and i dig that about her... ok gotta go to sleep- holla!
