were i'm probably sitting when you read this...

well... its test time... and that must mean its time to study... some more... i've got my last 4 hours tonight (actually only 1.5 left!!) and then review all day tomorrow and sunday... feeling more like i might know some pharmacy stuff... and i like it... its kinda like they say, knowledge is power? i'm feeling alittle more...empowered as of late... after this semester's applied therapeutics clinic with me and 3 of my other classmates being grilled by clinical pharmacists for 30 minutes every tuesday, its made me sharper... i think its really helped me sort out all the diabetes, hyperlipidemia, heart failure, anticoagulation, and hypertension stuff... really helped me take it from the back of my memory to a place where i can really APPLY it... (hence the name of the course?)... i could so walk in a room and educate someone on their disease state and the benefits of treating it and go over all their meds... (sorry jesse, still dont know much to tell you about the BC!... i'll let you know when we get to that stuff... endocrine/hormonal systems are weird subjects to understand and explain... ) its fun because what we do once a week now we will do every single day for a year and a half here starting this january... so thats fun... i think its nice to just sit around and think about stuff all day... i dont really feel bad about it because thats what the rest of my classmates do, and ultimately all pharmacists before they get out... but thats alot of what we do, we just sit around and think about things and discuss them until we understand them well enough to teach someone else, for example... i like it much more than undergrad. it almost doesnt seem like really hard work because i enjoy it so much,... but it's still tough...
