boo ya weekend...

soo... the UT georgia game was awesome... that was really fun to watch all the way around!
chun brought the chips and me and him and aryan watched it up in my room while i tried to look at some therapeutics notes... i havnt had THIS much fun being a Tennessee fan since 2002 when we beat florida at florida and went to the citrus bowl and smacked Michigan around... ! i wish i had an orange tie to have worn to church this morning, of course i would have had to compete with all the arkansas ties, but of course, they deserve to be happy because they beat the #2 team in the country... good times though...

and then today, i went to the pool, i drank me half a Red Bull, jumped in the pool and started swimming... i didnt stop until i had finished the 35 laps (1 mile)... i was really happy when i got to like 27 or 28 because it was at that point i knew i could do it and i just visualized my success and literally visualized writing a blog that said "i made it a mile without breaks!"... its funny that i had that particular thought to push me through... so i just kinda kept on going... and it just felt so good! i was watching all the people around me, and i was even kicking their butts the last 10 laps when i thought i might have slowed down... its like... i felt like i was in "the zone" and i could push myself as hard as i wanted to and everything just felt right... its really really awesome to feel passionate about something again... my muscles felt/feel really good, didnt even get tired or sore or painful at all... woot!

now i need a new goal... think i could do a mile and a half?

what kind of pace are you going at?

do you ever change it up or use any different strokes?

it took me 36 minutes, so right at a minute a lap which is, from what i understand from looking on the internet, an average pace- like the calorie counters use "1 min/lap" as the standard pace for the intensity, and i just do the same stroke ("crawl") the whole time...

How do you breathe?

3 and 3 or 4 and 2?

Wow...1 mile is a real milestone.

I have a great book that will help.
